SupiLoves // White Watches

No puedo. Inversión a largo plazo.

I’ve always had a soft spot for white watches, but I almost never buy them. Mainly because I feel like no matter how hard you try to keep them clean, they still get dirty, and even if you clean them they never go back to being really white. I hate this, and I cannot bring myself to spend money on a watch that I know will be unusable in a few months (if lucky). It’s just like those times when you really like a pair of shoes in an exciting color, but they also have that model in black, so you end up buying it in black ’cause you know you’ll get so much more use out of it. More value for your buck, long term investment, that’s the sh!t I like.

This is the only white watch I own, and only because my brother got it for me like a year ago. The good thing about this one, is that it is made out of porcelain, so it shouldn’t get dirty ever. Time will tell, but it’s been a year already and it still looks pristine!

Le Makeup: Baby Oil As Makeup Remover

baby oilI don’t know about you, but I don’t have a very good relationship with eye makeup removing products.  Whether I buy wipes or liquid formulas, they all take a million tries to take my eyeliner off and always end up irritating the skin around my eyes. The only  eye makeup remover I’ve ever really liked is Clinique’s Take The Day Off,  but I don’t want to spend as much for makeup remover anymore.

So for the last few months, I’ve turned to a much cheaper and less irritating alternative: baby oil. This thing is incredibly cheap, feels great on your skin and takes off even waterproof mascara/eyeliner. I absolutely love it. The only downside is that sometimes the makeup gets stuck to the oil, leaving you with a bit of raccoon face. My solution to this, is that I use the baby oil on my eyes first, then wash my face with some face foam and finish off with some hydrating lotion. Since I’ve been doing this, I’ve had no more redness around my eyes after taking my makeup off. If you’re looking for things to reduce spending on you should try this.
